Cannot save file in MS Office Word 2007 / Trados 2007 (SDL Trados Synergy 8.2.132.0)

I just created a new project with 1 file and started typing away at the translation, it updates the TM OK and I have a halve saved biligual file from before dinner 18:30, but if I save (or Save As) in Word now (22:00 ) I get the following error:

"A copy of this file is stored in a Document Workspace. Do you want to be able to update the workspace with the changes you make to your copy [Yes] [No] [Cancel]"

Yes -> Give s ' Save as' screen and repeats the above error

No -> A File error has occured
Cancel -> does nothing

I cannot save it under the same name, another name or on another drive

If I quit, reboot and open the last version (18:30) it does see the TM and updates everything correctly... But I want to save this version !!!

What am I missing here??

Are you working with Microsoft Office Live? Oct 24, 2010

This error indicates you are working with Microsoft Word Online and are possibly not connected to your Workspace.

It has nothing to do with the Studio software.

Check your connection or work with the normal WORD (off-line).

I'm afraid I'm not using Word online, it's the simple original Word version...

There must be a link to Microsoft Live or Sharepoint Oct 24, 2010

If you do not use Office Live, it may be that the document has been created with Word Online. This would explain why it asks you whether you want to save it in your Workspace.

It could also be that the author of the document was using MS Sharepoint.

Workspace is an online space for storing documents that is available either on a Sharepoint Server or with Microsoft Live.

...according tot he client anyways ...(sigh)..

...I do hate Trados...

What happens when you open the source document Oct 24, 2010

... and try to save it again or 'Save as' under another name?

Do you also get this message?
