I put my profile on Linkedin, got almost 50 connections and one recommendation... I joined 5 groups... and I have no idea what to do next.
What should I do to get direct (non-agency) clients? How do I offer my services to people without being accused of spamming or looking pushy?

Okay, I am highly specialized: IT and medical translation, English-Czech. Assume I found someone from a company I would like to work for. Should I tell this prospect that I offer translation service when I ask for introduction through a common contact? Or should I say something more neutral, so that I am not pushy?
