Gatherings in Mordor Apr 29, 2010

News of this pact between IBM and LB reminds me of the opening chapters in Lord of the Rings. The inhabitants of Middle Earth become anxious as they hear of new alliances and a gathering of dark forces in distant Mordor.

May be. But while "1984" (also not so far from the current reality) and the Lord of the Rings were imaginative narratives, this seems to be quite real and not so remote as Mordor from the Middle Earth.

I guess the sweatshop rates offers will be on the rise.
