Hello, I would be interested in finding out what rates translators and editors apply in Switzerland in CHF. Concerning specifically editing rates, would you charge per word, per hour or per day ? Thanks in advance

Look on http://www.astti.ch/ Accueil -Services -Tarifs conseillés- Tarifs de traduction for some idea of suggested rates for translation... I don't know if you can live of them, or if agencies are acually willing to pay that, or how old this information is, but it's a start!

ASTTI rates
Mar 17, 2010
Hi,
I just saw that Edward already referred you to the ASTTI website. I can confirm that these minimal rates are paid here, though I wouldn't know about agencies as I only work for direct clients. Don't sell your servies too cheaply!
Good luck, Irene
