Hello,

I am still new with Trados. A client sent me a folder with the files to be translated and another folder in it, named TM and there is a txt file in it. I cannot open this file in Translator's Workbench. I can only open the folder and the txt file does not open. Can a txt file be a translation memory? Isn't it supposed to have the letters tmw and if it can, how could I open it? Thank you!

In the File menu of the Workbench, there is an Import function which should work with this file, if it is a TM export. TM exports are the most common way to transmit TMs... maybe you should read Trados helps too.

Actually, that's exactly what I did but I was not sure it was working. Now I see that it works. Thank you!
