REFERENCE: http://moscow.usembassy.gov/bilateral/religious_2004.php Granted, the links offered in my original answer may have their measures of inaccuracy, however as to the term per se, it DOES EXIST and is perceived as perfectly normal for an English native speaker. Some of the terminology applicable to the realities of post-Soviet territories is quite specific, take "Deputy" (in reference to a parliamentarian) for instance, yet their existence is not denied simply on the grounds that they are not "perfect equivalents" to Western terms in such regard. As to repetitive questions on KudoZ, THE ONUS IS ON THE ASKER (wouldn't you think?) to search through the existing terms for equivalents to those the asker is inquiring about. When I see a Kudoz question, I offer my response rather than check Kudoz glossary. Having said that, it would be a good policy (and I think that a recommendation to that end already exists on ProZ) for the asker to 'do their homework' prior to posting terms which have been looked at before.
