agree  David Knowles: For a diploma I think this is fine. For general use, something like your "planning engineer" would be better.

  -> Thanks David, that's exactly what I suggested below in Ukrainian, that for diploma it would be better to use engineer-economist, though regarding to profession, of course - planning engineer would be Ok
