English translation: Production Report

Turkish term or phrase: Üretim Raporu
This phrase is in the middle of a German text that I am translating:
"Dies steht in völligem Widerspruch zu den Üretim Raporu (CL-12 – CL-34)"
I think that "Üretim Raporu" is "production report", but is it singular or plural? And could "CL" be a Turkish abbreviation? Any help appreciated!

English translation:Production Report
Explanation:
It is singular however we may sometimes use singular for plural and it is important in your language which is better.
I found (CL-12 – CL-34) in a few places but it may either depent on spesific field or an output from CAM/CAD or SAP. However
if there was two reports Üretim Raporu (CL-12 – CL-34)they would use Üretim Raporu (CL-12 , CL-34)a comma, therefore either it is a whole or there is a RANGE of repors between Üretim Raporu (CL-12 – CL-34)
CL-12, CL-13,CL-14.......CL-34. There may be a bypass method for this in your languege.

Üretim Raporu
seems to be singular

Explanation:
I say seems to be because Üretim Raporu is definitely singular but the CL-12 – CL-34 seem to be two different numbers for two different reports. Besides in German it says "den Üretim Raporu" which also leads to think that it may be plural.

I have no idea what CL means, but probably the ID no of the report or reports.

agree  Özden Arıkan: certainly plural: asker may need to note that in turkish plural suffix isn't added if it's clear from the no.s etc that the item is plural; e.g. we say "toplar=balls" but never "iki toplar=2 balls", it's "2 top=2 ball" in tur; hence might be the confusion

agree  Özden Arıkan: I believe it's plural in the original (pr.reports X and XX), but the phrasing should remain singular in turkish (ürt.raporu X ve XX)

Üretim Raporu
Production Report

Explanation:
Üretim Raporu (CL-12 - CL-34) means "Please refer to the Production Report, Clauses 12 and 34).
So, in that sense the report is singular (there is only one production report), but there are a number of clauses or numbered paragraphs in the report.

Üretim Raporu
Method Statement / Procedure

Explanation:
I guess the context you have given says that something produced or manufactured is contrary or contradictory to "Üretim Raporu". So, the "Üretim raporu" specifies the way work to be carried out. Then "Üretim Raporu" is a pre-work issued document. If so it should have been called as "Method Statement or Procedure".

And I agree with my friend about Clauses.
