teased/fluffed up with burdock heads Explanation: I'm not sure, but they could mean that they tease the surface of the mohair with burdock heads (burdock is a bit thistle-like) to make it fluffy. It's the same sort of principle as carding wool to make all the fibres lie in the same direction. |
