smoothing belt
Explanation:
As you undoubtedly know already, "egaliseringsband" does not enjoy wide popularity on Google. :-) On the theory that someone has improvised in translating to Swedish, I looked for paths to follow back to an original English term. So far, my best candidate is "smoothing belt", which enjoys some popularity in the paper-making industry. See the reference link for Google examples.
