De hänvisar till presstjänsten hela tiden, jag vill prata med enskilda medarbetare när jag har bråttom. Bildbank på nyckelpersoner skulle också behövas

agree  Deane Goltermann: Yes Jane, it's been asked before ... and image archive, too! All the same thing ...

  -> Thanks Deane!

neutral  Charlesp: I agree in general, as to the translation of the term, but to me an image bank is usually of stock photos (etc.), and this, in this context, seems like they are referring to something differernt.
21 mins
  -> I agree, but Helena has made it clear with other questions from this document that it's a bit sloppily written so I really don't think it's any more complicated than this.

disagree  Michael Ellis: Charlesp has identified the problem with 'image bank'. Something like a "Display of pictures of" or my "Rogues' Gallery" would be better.

agree  Anna Herbst: If you add what is in the image bank, as Jane has done, there is no mistaking what you will find in the image bank in question. By the way, Jane, "image bank of key personnel"....

picture book of key people

Explanation:
If it is a picture book of employees, or key people, I'd call it a picture book of key people.

disagree  Anna Herbst: I used to love picture books when I was a little girl. They are called bilderböcker in Swedish.

  -> A bilderböcker is not a bildbank; and a picture book of people is not a children's picture book (even if a picture book is a book of pictures). Other than that, I'd say your response was quite humourous.

rogues' gallery

Explanation:
This is bit tongue in cheek, or an attempt to lighten the tone of this 'sloppily written' document.
When I was in industry, any such display of of key personnel was called the "Rogues' Gallery", even by those depicted therein, although it might be captioned "Key Personnel" or "Senior Management" etc.

Example sentence(s):
  • A "rogues' gallery' of key personnel is also required

neutral  Anna Herbst: Could be used as an in-joke perhaps, but not suitable here in my view.
