I take it all this applies ”för anställd/företagare som arbetar minst 16 timmar per helgfri vecka” and that ”för anställd med en ordinarie arbetstid om minst 8 timmar men mindre än 16 timmar per helgfri vecka ” the amounts are halved. So I think your answer, however thankful I may fell for you taking the time to provide it, does not answer my question: Which two possibilities is the word “respektive” referring to? Having died before the age of 64 or after, perhaps?

By way of introduction, in a paragraph entitled ”Vem är försäkrad?” it's stated that: “...För anställd/företagare som arbetar minst 16 timmar per helgfri vecka, räknat i genomsnitt per månad gäller TGL med hela beloppet. För anställd med en ordinarie arbetstid om minst 8 timmar men mindre än 16 timmar per helgfri vecka räknat i genomsnitt per månad gäller TGL med halvt belopp.” My understanding is that this is a general clause that applies to all that follows. In a subsequent paragraph, entitled ”Grundbelopp”, it says: ”...Det högsta grundbeloppet som betalas ut är sex prisbasbelopp (pbb). Från 55 års ålder sjunker grundbeloppet med 0,5 prisbasbelopp per år fram till 64 års ålder...” NOTE: That's 9 years, meaning the Grundbelopp can fall as low as 6-(0,5 x 9)=1,5 pbb; as opposed to 1 pbb, that's mentioned as a minimum in one of the quotations provided by Erzsébet Czopyk... probably a matter of variations between different insurance companies (BTW, in my case we are talking about Skandia)...

Alright.
I posted a question concerning a sentence of my source text that I do not really make much sense of; I confess. Is this some sort of violation of the Proz terms? If so, pardon my ignorance; for as I have seen fellow translators submitting their own questions when finding themselves in a similar predicament, so have I seen senior translators - judging from their PRO pts and not least from their CVs - offering their assistance open-handedly, without pointing the Asker to the original author who may very well - for a wide range of reasons - be out of reach. Their extra bit of translating experience may just be enough to solve the problem - here and now. And that's what I was hoping to do.<br>
Second: At a moment of haste, just before leaving home (I have now returned), I made a straight-forward note concerning a straight-forward answer that I got. I did also get another, lengthier answer, which, in turn, calls for a lengthy response. Should I apologize for not affording the time to do so in the first place?<br>
And well, the hours-per-week factor is indeed mentioned, but in an altogether different section of the text.

The logic in all these insurances is the same - only 7 wonder are in the world.
There are initially initially be two different cases mentioned, so to subsequently state that six pbb cases (see the quotations in my answer) and depending of the amount the payment is the subsequent pbb.
I gave you a clear answer, IMHO. You even not reacted, not commented, and now I see with other colleague you were immeadiately ready to engage into discussion. Hm... what should I think?
So if you ignore, then please download a policy. It is so obvious.
And to understand the logic, you do not need to be a native speaker of Swedish. I worked for 4Life Direct last year.

As noted in his response to my Answer the Asker does not understand the text he is translating. Therefore, the obvious thing to do is ask the author and not Proz for clarification.
