Swedish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Insurance / Type or insurance
Swedish term or phrase: Trygghetsförsäkring
This applies to a "Trygghetsförsäkring för värmepumpar" so has nothing to do with Industrial Injuries or Accidents. As far as I can see, the insurance covers the "excess" the consumer has to pay when claiming from household insurance in the event of damage to the pump.

(AmE) excess-waiver > (BrE) zero-excess > insurance

Explanation:
Before US lawyers (refuse to) rally to my support, I have a nagging doubt that there can be comprehensive insurance with a 'compulsory or voluntary excess': see the second example sentence.

Example sentence(s):
  • Trygghetsförsäkringen, som är en självriskeliminering, togs till en början fram i nära samarbete.
  • What are the pros and cons of getting comprehensive car insurance over other ... have to pay for expensive repairs – just your compulsory and voluntary excess.

insurance against excess and depreciation deductions

Explanation:
WARNING!
The term "trygghetsförsäkran" has a very well defined meaning, which differs drastically from Nibe's. The use of the term "trygghetsförsäkran" by Nibe in http://www.nibe.se/Documents/nibe_se/Trygghetsforsakring.pdf may be considered fraudulent if tried by a Swedish court.

Whenever in doubt; tell the truth!

zero deductible coverage

Explanation:
I know this is used for cars around Europe (see the reference). I've seen it for home insurance in the US.

Here you are looking covering the deductible you usually have in home (and other) insurance. Excess insurance is for additional coverage for any damages in excess of the insurance amount of your home (or other policy). See http://finance.zacks.com/difference-between-excess-insurance...

For a primer see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deductible.
