comprehensive insurance

Explanation:
How this differs from Kaskoförsäkring > a company can take out an SK for all-risks, but not a KF.

Comprehensive vs. third-party, fire and tdheft.

Literally, combined > comprehensive plus third-party elements.

  -> But that's exactly what I've quoted and 'prayed in aid' of my own answer! You must have read the quote carefully & not have been shooting from the hip.//Well, let's have your own suggestion: 1. combined 2. package 3. part-comprehensive 4. something else

agree  Anna Herbst: Reading your ref. I recognise my Australian comprehensive car insurance as the Kasko/samling.

  -> Many thanks.

agree  Deane Goltermann: Comparing the definition provided here with several definitions of 'comprehensive auto insurance' (UK and US) shows this suggestion is as good as you're going to get.

  -> Many thanks.

agree  Mats Wiman: In the case oaf car insurnce, Yes.

  -> Tack, tack.

neutral  Charlesp: I am changing it to unsure - based on the new information posted. Doesn't look like comprehensive insurance is what was meant here - though it could be. Looks more like a group insurance.

  -> thanks for the agree, but a rally race suggests either one or more cars > keeping Sven's answer 'on the boil'.//OK. I understand the shift. But we still need to know rough numbers.

disagree  Deane Goltermann: Samlingsförsäkring is apparently an industry specific term with a more specific meaning in reference to group insurance. Here we have a sentence suggested to answer a term - 5 words - with no industry or other reference. Added, this is another violation!
1 hr
  -> Why don't you do what I did; phone an insurance company? - They will tell you what it means! When you have grasped the meaning you may try to compose an answer with less than 5 words. - A correct 5 word answer is, IMHO, better than a faulty 2 word one.

neutral  Charlesp: Looks like it is a "multi vehicle auto insurance policy," however one where there are different owners of the multiple vehicles.
2 hrs
  -> That thought never entered my mind, but now, when I think about it, I must conclude that's a distinct possibility.

Samlingsförsäkring (Motor)
Fleet insurance

Explanation:
Maybe we stand to be corrected, but in the event, you do see the term samlingsförsäkring in relation to 'group' insurance when it comes to people and their (other) things, as explained here, (even) http://www.kammarkollegiet.se/forsakringsavdelningen/personf... You can search this site for other examples of samlingsförsäkring.

But then when your are talking about 'Motor' or motor vehicles it seems you might want 'Fleet' insurance as offered on this site (http://www.qbeeurope.com/motor/fleet-insurance.asp).

Why the kammarkollegiate site seemingly misleadingly also uses 'samling' in combination kasko is, however, difficult to identify.

disagree  Sven Petersson: "Fleet insurance" is not the only form of "Samlingsförsäkring Motor", kindly see my discussion entry @Tom. To translate "Samlingsförsäkring Motor" to "Fleet insurance" is like translating "frukt" to "banana"!

  -> This statement has no linguistic value as you have not referenced any accepted translation theory or other information regarding the asker's question or my answer. This seems to be in violation of the Kudoz rule I referenced above. Unfortunately.

Group insurance

Explanation:
LO och Folksam har tagit fram en Samlingsförsäkring (företagsförsäkring) som skyddar vid de flesta skadesituationer.

In this case "Samlingsförsäkring" (the group insurance) covers a multitude of risks (a "polipolicy), for those eligible to subscribe to it.
