Bus/Financial - Insurance / terms of employment
Swedish term or phrase: trygghetsförsäkring
En anställning här innebär grundtrygghet i form av månadslön, pensionsinbetalning, trygghetsförsäkringar och semester.

I am unsure as to whether it's unemployment insurance or some kind of accident insurance - or a mixture??

English translation:disability (income) insurance
Explanation:
Definition of the Norwegian equivalent "trygghetsforsikring" states that it covers disability that is a result of accidents away from the place of employment. US insurers do not seem to differentiate between on the job and away from the job injuries, so this term may cover more than what "trygghetsforsikring" covers in Scandinavia.

No-fault liability insurance (or TFA)

Explanation:
Can also be (additional/supplemental/complimentary)occupational injury insurance, work injury insurance or workplace injury insurance. In Sweden, you are already covered for workplace injury by law, so the "TFA - tryghetsförsäkring vid arbeskada" covers you for additional workplace injuries which for some reason may not be covered.

It can, in other circumstances also mean "extended warranty" when buying, say, a lawnmower or something.

When not related to employment, it can also mean life, critical illness, accident and disabilility insurance. It all depends on the clauses in the policy itself.

neutral  Charlesp: upon consideration, a nice and useful explanation, but I am not so sure about calling it No-fault liability insurance, as this usually refers to auto insurance.

work injury insurance

Explanation:
Insurance for work-related or on the job injuries.
Could be called disability insurance, but is more comprehensive than that.

P.S. Is supplemental insurance.

The other terms suggested are certainly correct, however to simply say "work injury insurance" is less precise. And in a legal translation, you may want to avoid precision, ie imposing a definition which applies in one jurisdiction (the target language jurisdiction) which may or may not apply in the source language jurisdiction. In other words, it may have a specific meaning in Sweden, but the reader might think that disability insurance in Sweden is the same as disability insurance in their jurisdiction.
