*Är jag inne på rättens område?* Är inte ordnngen den att man ska räkna av för räntor från sitt kapital?

Basically, hearings where people are giving testimonies about a bankruptcy. It's a transcript (and therefore sometimes incomplete). I'm not sure what this means - is the person asking if he's within the law, or if he's working along the same lines as the court?
Advice would be appreciated.

I saw your answer and my first reaction was that "rätten" means "the court". In Danish we can say the same thing:"Er jeg inde på rettens område" which means that the person is asking for "acceptance" to continue. He has the feeling that he is talking about something that the court is supposed to deal with. On the second hand it could also, as you suggest, be "within the law" which seems more likely as he is telling how he thinks interests should be dealed with. I hope that you find the right answer.
