Swedish term or phrase: tidsmedveten
Hello

In an advert for translators (don't laugh)

Du måste vara pålitlig,*** tidsmedveten*** och professionell

This seems to mean "aware of contemporary issues or rooted in the present" but I have the feeling that here, it could also mean that you are aware of historical issues if translating something older. Is that right?

My other problem is finding a short and sweet word/expression that fits well into my text which is just a list of qualities.

It has nothing to do with deadlines as that is mentioned just after in a line

Any help appreciated

time-conscious
Explanation:
Pretty sure they just mean time-conscious, as in aware of time, even if deadlines are mentioned in the next line. I can't see tidsmedveten meaning the contemporary thing - although even if it does mean that on some level, time-conscious is a broad enough term to cover it.

in tune with the times

Explanation:
The term seems to be used both in the sense of aware of time as in the flow of time, and in the sense of connected with the times you live in. My suggestion addresses the second.
