Swedish term or phrase: stabsbolag
Hello

Just can't work out what this could be even though it appears a bit on the Internet but never in a dictionary

managment companies
Explanation:
As "stab" originally means the staff surrounding and supporting a high military leader but has now migrated into the business world, its meaning, in the business world, is a little unclear and therefore either non-existent or unclear in dictionaries and similar.
However, in my experience, it most often means management, executives, or possibly directorate and therefore, translating "stabsbolag" into "management companies" cannot be far wrong.
In my humble opinion, that is!

Thanks Paul. I have to go on what you say, having no other feedback but it's weird how "staff" has come to mean "management"
