No it wasn't Gotland, but a small island called Rånö. Very wet that summer. Loads of midges.

Asker: Thank you Agneta, Gotland was it? I couldn’t think of the English but I heard the concept being discussed 18 years ago when I spent the summer on Norrbyskär
