Hello

Section about Urban Hjärne

I Falun engagerade han sig i ***vitriolsjuderiet***.

So vitriol is probably sulphuric acid and a "sjuderi" is a place where things are boiled down (reduced like in cooking) but what is the English word for such a place please?

Cauldron appears on Internet but this seems to be natural places like in Yellowstone Park, not industrial

Thanks

sulfuric acid plant
Explanation:
vitriol = sulfuric acid
https://ensv.dict.cc/?s=Vitriol

sjuderi = fabrik där man sjuder till exempel salpeter, tvål = factory
https://www.synonymer.se/sv-syn/sjuderi

So, the literal translation is sulfuric acid factory

However, it is usually referred to as *sulfuric acid plant*
