Tengo una duda de gramática sobre utilizar o no la preposición de con ciertos adjetivos. p. ej. en las siguientes frases:

Es difícil saber que es menos irreal, la variante a o la b.

Es imposible recomponer el puzle por completo.

Si entiendo bien las explicaciones de la RAE ambas frases solo son correctas sin la preposición de :https://www.espanolavanzado.com/gramatica-tips/1434-facil-di...

Pero me gustaría que alguien me lo podría confirmar.
