Secondo queste definizioni achique e desagüe è la stessa cosa. Se cerchi nell'Eurodicautom achique e desagüe vengono tradotti come aggottamento. Sì, aggottamento va bene Paolo.

agree  Mariana Perussia: Es verdad. La diferencia entre achique y desaguar es el campo de uso. Desaguar es un término muy utilizado en cualquier campo, en cambio achicar se usa sobre todo referido a embarcaciones, diques, minas. ¡Suerte Paolo!
