Reference: Difference between waybill/bill of lading Reference information: No veo gran diferencia entre "waybill" y "bill of lading" in general. Sin embargo, según la definición el "bill of lading" parece ser la más "fuerte" en términos legales: "The most important difference between a waybill and a bill of lading is the fact that a bill of lading is a document of title. In addition to being a receipt, a bill of lading is a contract for the carriage of goods and a document of title to them." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 hrs (2017-05-11 07:46:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- So, I kind of basically agree with both patinba and Wilsonn. People in general would probably tend to just say "send me a copy of the waybill", simply because it's shorter and easier to say than BoL, although Bill of Lading may actually be a more precise term.
