Following on from the las query. Now I've come up against this. Perhaps they mean "Delivered alongside ship"? It's a software string so there's no other relevant context to help judge.

Se considera que la responsabilidad del vendedor concluye cuando se han colocado los artículos junto al barco, sobre el muelle o en lanchas de alijo en el puerto de embarque. Por tanto, el comprador asume todos los costos y riesgos por perdida o daño de la mercancía desde ese momento, así como los tramites para su exportación. El termino "FAS" no debe emplearse cuando el comprador no pueda efectuar este tramite y solo pueda usarse para el transporte marítimo.



j) DES: DELIVERED EX-SHIP - ENTREGADO FUERA DEL BARCO.

El vendedor cumple su compromiso cuando los artículos están a disposición del comprador a bordo del barco, sin que haya efectuado tramite alguno de importación en el puerto asignado. El vendedor asume los costos y riesgos por llevar los artículos al puerto de destino. Este termino se usa únicamente para transporte marítimo o fluvial.
