application of ABATE Explanation: This may be totally off-base, but it's possible that the word "abatizacion" has sprung from the use of the larvicide ABATE, which is a trade name. I tripped over the words abatization and abate in the same document, which led to finding the ABATE chemical. It seems to be used in areas to prevent mosquito infestations.
