En la actualidad, el mismo equipo de científicos de la Universidad de XXX que participó en la investigación ha presentado en la revista "XXXX" "un enfoque más práctico y productivo para la evaluación de los riesgos ecotoxicológicos, en los cuales un problema científico hace referencia a una valoración final relevante, y las hipótesis de riesgo predicen efectos en los cuales la valoración final no es una planta transformada, sino el producto resultante de ésta", explica XXX.

Here is my version:

Currently, the same team of scientists from the Universidad de Lleida who took part in this research have published in the review "XXX" "a more practical and productive approach to evaluate the ecological and toxicological risks, in which a scientific problem refers to a relevant final valuation, and the hypotheses of risk predict effects in which the final valuation is not a transformed plant, but the product resulting from that plant”, XXXX explains to SINC.

Hi, I'm not entirely convinced that "relevante" in this case would mean "relevant". I think it is much more likely to mean "important" or "notable" in this case. And I also think that rather than "valuation", "assessment" is more appropriate, as it is talking about scientific testing. It is difficult without seeing the whole text, but this is my opinion. I think significant, important, notable are all good. But I wouldn't use outstanding, personally - just a hunch

Asker: I have just looked up Collins and it says "outstanding" for "relevante", so your comment is very valid. Thank you! I'll wait for any other input.

Asker: We shall see if anybody else has any ideas...I have to send this off soon!

Asker: Thank you for replying! I have used "significant" - I wouldn't have used "outstanding" as it's a bit OTT. I was just interested to look up the dictionary, which is what I should have done initially. Obviously a faux-ami.
