I came across the abbreviation "MAD" in a medical report issued in Spain for a patient scheduled for microsurgical neurolysis of the right median nerve:

El estudio de la alineación y orirntación (AyO) de los miembros inferiores se realizó a través de estudios clínicos y radiológicos.
