"Laminado.
Consiste en la unión de dos o más substratos, bien textiles o bien un textil con otros materiales, un film polimérico, membrana, etc…, haciendo uso de adhesivos (termoplásticos o termoestables), calor o presión. Si un tejido o tela no tejida se une a otro substrato textil, el término se conoce como doblado."

Explanation:
It seems that laminates and coatings have many applications. However, since this applies specifically to textiles, I would think "seam." Otherwise, "seal" might also be a viable option.

Explanation:
A laminate or complex is a term i have used a lot in combining 2 or 3 plastic/paper/ aluminium in packaging for duplex or triplex films. Laminated floor tiles exists too.
