Spanish term or phrase: olivares en formación
SPAIN. This appears in verbatim interviews with olive farmers. I'm assuming it refers to olive groves/trees that are not fully formed yet, but I'm not sure if there is a more specific term. I'm also waiting for the client to get back with suggestions, so I'm posting this here meanwhile to see if anyone comes up with anything more informed or inspiring. TIA.

fledgling olive groves

Explanation:
Hi Neil - just an idea, the register might not be quite right (sounds a bit literary), or it may be there is a more specific term, but this sprung to mind. Maybe it will trigger other ideas!

Notes to answerer
Asker: I thought it might refer to a specific stage of development, but the client has just got back to me saying it just means young olive groves. Thanks for your suggestions.

Asker: I do like "fledgling", but am using the more prosaic "young" this time. Thanks for the help :-)

Notes to answerer
Asker: It seems to be referring to a particular stage, but I don't know if it means inflorescence, flowering or whatever. Waiting for client feedback.

Asker: The client says it simply refers to young olive groves, so you've hit the nail on the head.
