Spanish term or phrase: pie de factura
SPAIN. The phrase appears in an alphabetical list of billing software strings, so there's no more useful context.
A similar query arose in French a couple of weeks ago. My issue with the translation is that the invoices in question are electronic; they have a header, a body and a footer; however, the invoice footer does not usually contain any amounts/sums/totals or similar information. So, if it's not the footer, what should we call this "pie de factura"?

Notes to answerer
Asker: Cheers. The only issue I have with this option, is that "trade/commercial discount" appears elsewhere in the company's documentation. I think I'm going to go with "bottom line trade discount" to maintain the distinction.

the bottom/margin of the invoice

Explanation:
It means that nobody can write or add a discount amount at the bottom of the invoice (pie de factura). The bottom of the invoice: the inferior margin of the invoice. It is a regular custom for vendors to add a a hand written discount in an electronic printed invoice margin or bottom.

Reference: Discounts on the sum/total

Reference information:
Its the total - similar to teh expression "bottom line" (but with a different meaning.
The sum is usually at the bottom.

The problem with "bottom line" is that is strongly associated with the income statement/Profit and loss.

Asker: Actually, "bottom line" is the translation I've been considering myself.
