Hola a todos, estoy haciendo un informe acerca de una falla que se detecto. Trabajo para el sector calidad de un fábrica.

la falla es sobre un teléfono.

El problema es que el orificio donde se tiene que poner el tornillo es un poco más grande del límite permitido y por eso es como que queda haciendo juego o no entra justo, ellos lo llaman tornillo desgastado o robado, alguien me puede ayudar?

Como dicen mis colegas, "tornillo desgastado/robado" se traduciría normalmente "worn screw" (o "bolt", según el caso). Sin embargo, según la descripción aquí, no es ése el problema, sino que el agujero u orificio es demasiado ancho para el tornillo, de modo que éste baila y la rosca no agarra bien. No se trata, en realidad, de un tornillo desgastado o robado, aunque el defecto se clasifique así.

Así pues, aunque no sea realmente el sentido literal del término que ellos utilizan, creo que la expresión adecuada aquí es "ill-fitting screw", es decir, que el tornillo no se ajusta bien al orificio. La misma expresión vale también para un tornillo demasiado largo.
