Cosmetics, Beauty
Spanish term or phrase: visagismo
On a transcript from a Mexican beauty school under the subject heading "PEINADOS." While I think this may apply to make-up or cosmetics, I am confused by its placement under the heading "PEINADOS." Thanks in advance.

Take a look at this:

\"Inma uses a technique to help advise clients called Visagism. She and her stylists are trained to pick up clues about their clients from their mood and personalities, the clothes they wear and the colours they like. This helps determine whether the person wants a big change or would rather stick to his or her current style. Inma said she could see Jazz wanted to do something dramatic because she had come into the salon wearing bright red cowboy boots. Jazz lives near the salon and had been there a couple of times before, but never wearing red cowboy boots. On the day of the make-over she was definitely in an adventurous mood.\"

hair cut based on beauty counselling

Explanation:
the noun might be OK in English..This is an Old Term in French..It means they cut based on your Visage: Face. It means in French that the hairdresser cuts your hair according to your face...they match haircuts to face styles and don't just cut what you want...they cut your hair so it goes with your face: round, oval etc. Same for color.

This has existed for 30 years in France...

I don't know if I would use that word visagism in English
