seaweed

Explanation:
I would use the term "seaweed" or "edible seaweed," since this can refer to vegetation rather than microscopic algae.

(Japanese) saltwort/land seaweed

Explanation:
Could be this, apparently appreciated in Japanese cuisine for its vitamins and minerals.
Scientific name salsola komarovii, also known in Japan as Okahijiki.

"Saltwort or Okahijiki Av 100 seeds £1.40
salsola komarovii
Known as 'Okahijiki' or Land seaweed in Japan. A traditional Japanese culinary herb and Oriental Vegetable. Leaves are long and succulent with an appealing crunchy texture. Add tender young leaves to salads and sushi, steam longer stems for healthy side dishes. Rich in vitamins and minerals. Juice is used as a diuretic. Can be harvested at the seedling stage for micro greens or baby leaf stage for adding to salad mixtures."

desert shoot (see below)

Explanation:
If referring to this plant:
http://www.gastromundo.es/pdf/prod_huerto.pdf
http://www.gastrobotanica.com/a/72/alga-de-tierra

you could use a general term like "desert shoot".

I found this site
http://www.apiciususa.com/Apicius2ExtraContents.pdf
where it refers to this plant as Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum (commonly called the slenderleaf iceplant, and in this article referred to as desert seaweed)

Then I found this page:
http://swbiodiversity.org/seinet/taxa/index.php?taxon=2551
The plant does look similar.

I'm not totally sure about this, but this is all I could find so far.

This looks very similar to the "alga de tierra" mentioned on the Spanish websites: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fichier:Mesembryanthemum_nodifl...

Slender-leaved Iceplant (Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum)

Explanation:
I always thought of Mesembryanthemums as South African plants, but there are two species native to Mallorca, and this is one of them.
