panic parties Explanation: It seems to refer to a specific movement in the 60s, so this is another option. Panic Movement - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panic_Movement Panic Movement (Mouvement panique) was a collective formed by Fernando Arrabal, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Roland Topor in Paris in 1962. Inspired by and named after the god Pan, and influenced by Luis Buñuel and .. https://literaterceroiam.blogspot.com/2012/06/teatro-panico.... The Panic parties were like experimental labs from which Jodorowsky could casually observe the reactions of the spectators. The parties were the springboard to begin the ephemerals as the chance actions at the parties validated Jodorowsky’s desire to create intentionally provocative environments and situations. panic (theatrical) events / panic performances Explanation: Diría que se alude al movimiento pánico (Pánico; Grupo Pánico) de Arrabal, Jodorowsky (¿y Roland Topor?) y a sus performances teatrales. As far as I was concerned, and a few years later, I would deny all connections with Panic Theatre (which englobed grosso-modo the existential and anarchistic energy that went from Becket and Ionesco to Arrabal). https://www.pantheatre.com/archives/pages/writings_panic_chr... The Panic Movement performed theatrical events designed to be shocking, as a response to surrealism becoming petite bourgeoisie and to release destructive energies in search of peace and beauty. One four-hour performance known as Melodrama Sacramentral was staged in May 1965 at the Paris Festival of Free Expression.
