From a university course curriculum from the Canary Islands. It seems to me that it's not multiple choice; one PDF I found from the University of Laguna says, "los exámenes serán de tipo test o microtema". Does anyone know?

Context:
"Examenes parciales eliminatorios (Notable 7), modalidad microtema.
Examen de la convocatoria de junio.
Modalidad microtema , teniendo que aprobar cada uno de los parciales con una nota de 5."

Thank you, María. In the end I used the words "short answer format", for simplicity's sake and because that's how I would see it on an American curriculum, but your answer helped me figure out what it was talking about.
