I have already translated this text except where it now says 'Reparto Preferente', in the previous version of the text it said 'Dividendo Preferente'. As 'reparto' obviously refers to a dividend distribution, does it make sense to now translate the new text as Preferred Distribution or should I continue to use Preferred Dividend??

many thanks for any opinions

Preferred dividends are paid out of net income before any money is allocated for common share dividends. If the company has a hard time covering its preferred dividend requirements, common shareholders are unlikely to receive a dividend payment on their own holdings.
