En contraposición a "extra-crew" que son tripulantes adicionales que van en el avión. Ejemplo: Van como pasajeros hacia otro aeropuerto para tomar otro vuelo donde si van a actuar como tripulantes

Asker: Thanks for your help; jump seat would usually be a good solution for non-working cabin crew travelling on an aircraft; however, this term has been used previously in the text - I have gone with the idea of 'crew in transition to another airport' as in view of the context I believe that this is what they are referring to. The term I have found elsewhere is 'deadheading' - as in 'deadhead crew member'
