I agree with you. Client rarely compares translated text with source and according to the quality of final text assess the quality of the translator. Therefore, the decision is sometimes so difficult.

already asked customer to ask its customer about improving. many people don't write well in their own language, and since this is marketing oriented text i made my argument to allow me liberties. the languages have completely different styles of expression. a literal, more correct translation in this case would sound somewhat clunky in english, my opinion.
