Thank you. Thanks to Gerry too, for the comments from the doctor. The doctor is thinking of something happening at 7-day intervals ("7 days seems quite frequent"), i.e. "once every 7 days". I still think this preposition needs to be treated with some caution! Fortunately I don't see it too often.
