Slovak term or phrase: pôdorysná šírka
Diagrams for excavation of pits and trenches includes "pomer jeho výšky ku pôdorysnej šírke". ratio of its height to... The term seems to be unique to the company, but it could be ground length or "basic width" by translating the supposedly German equivalent "Grundbreite". Could anyone with a civil engineering background comment or suggest a better translation?
