Rečenica koju ste naveli uveliko odgovora onome što u ugovorima čini "opt-out clause/provision" ili "escape clause: a provision in a contract which allows one of the parties to be relieved from (get out of) any obligation if a certain event occurs".

U tom slučaju - ako je u pitanju neka vrsta ugovora koji je "opt-out contract" - pretpostavljam da biste u prevodu mogli koristiti i "opt out of", pošto je ovaj izraz u poslednjih nekoliko decenija gubi na svojoj neformalmosti i ulazi u pravni jezik.
