"Autorski" in this sense comes from the world of film-making, and the English word (it is actually French) for it is "auteur". (See the explanation on Wikipedia.) I guess "autorska" used to mean "auteur" once, but now it has simply come to mean any show, however mundane and non-artistic, with a host. Kako početi - Na prvom mestu, novinar koji se upušta u stvaranje nečega što se zove autorska emisija, mora biti odličan poznavalac oblasti o kojoj namerava da govori. Jedino tako može da na pravi način prenese auditorijumu svaki događaj, stav stručnjaka iz te oblasti, ali i mišljenje običnog čoveka o problemu o kojem se govori, i na kraju, naravno, sve to upakuje u celinu koja zaslužuje da se nađe na programu. Vrlo je bitno i na pravi način koncipirati emisiju. Ona mora da ima prepoznatljiv pečat, na prvom mestu vizuelni, kako bi gledalac i letimičnim pogledom tokom prebacivanja s kanala na kanal mogao da je prepozna i zadrži se na njoj. Sle deći korak je svakako onaj kada gledaoci znaju termin emisije i čekaju njen početak, što je sigurno korak napred i pokazatelj pravog rezultata i interesovanja za nju. Kako do ći do toga? Koncept - Emisija mora imati jasan koncept: početak, sredinu i kraj. Emisije koje se rade u formi razgovora sa gostima u studiju, lakše su za realizaciju. Tema koja je planirana služi kao smernica za osmišljavanje pitanja i vođenje razgovora u određenom prav cu. Autor unapred zna šta želi da dobije od gostiju. Upravo tu dolazi do izražaja neophodnost poznavanja određene problematike, jer razgovor ne sme da ode u neželjenom pravcu i da gosti preuzmu vođenje emisije. Set pitanja mora biti pažljivo osmišljen, kako bi krajnji rezultat bio upravo ono što se želelo od početka. Potpuno drugačiji pristup neophodan je pri stvaranju emisija čiji je sadržaj unapred snimljen na terenu. Tu postoji mogućnost i takozvanog „šminkanja“ i ispravljanja propusta koji su se eventualno dogodili tokom snimanja. S druge strane, stvaranje takvih emisija mnogo je zahtevnije, jer svaki tekst mora da prati adekvatna slika. Televizija ne može da funkcioniše na osnovu zalaga nja jednog čoveka, već program i emisije u okviru njega stvara ceo tim ljudi. Takav slučaj je i sa autorskim emisijama. Od ideje do realizacije put je veoma dugačak i potrebno je da svako obavi svoj deo posla, kako bi krajnji proizvod bio ono što je na početku zamišljeno.
