Pourriez-vous me dire ce que signifie le mot "жилиная" relatif à la description de Baba Yaga (la tête).

Не идет ли здесь речь о выражении из сказки:
"В избушке сидит баба-яга, морда жилиная, нога глиняная..."
Тогда здесь уже не tête, a gueule, mufle.

Если так, то, возможно, "жилиная" - производное от "жилить" (не отдавать, присваивать чужое).
Тогда "жилиная" будет "goulue", "cupide".

Кстати, по ссылке Виктора данный вариант тоже упоминается.
