Бланк счета состоит из двух частей. Нижняя часть - счет-квитанция, содержит информацию о начислениях в данном месяце с подробной расшифровкой по каждому виду предоставленных услуг. Верхняя часть - счет-извещение помимо фамилии и адреса плательщика содержит одну или две полоски штрих-кода, которые в закодированном виде несут информацию о величине платежа и уникальном номере лицевого счета плательщика. После оплаты счета в отделении Сбербанка (или любом другом пункте приема платежей) счет-квитанция возвращается плательщику, а счет-извещение поступает в расчетный центр, где посредством сканирования штрих-кода специальным считывателем информация о поступившем от клиента платеже заносится в базу данных по его лицевому счету.
