It's about racing. I found a definition for поребрики that had to do with brick, but I still don't know what this looks like and what to call it. Also, what the h*ll are шиканы?

Explanation:
Сергей все правильно написал с точки зрения перевода, но я хочу прояснить понятие "шикана".

На гоночной трассе шикана - это не просто крутой поворот, и даже не обязательно крутой поворот, и тем более не "вираж". Шикана - это S-образный поворот. "Влево-вправо" или "вправо-влево". А вираж (banking) - это профилированный поворот, когда трасса имеет уклон внутрь поворота. Соответствено, виража в шикане быть практически не может. По крайней мере, не припомню чтобы где-то шиканы были профилированные.
