КОНТРУКЛОН counter-slope Explanation: Or counter-gradient. A section of the track where the gradient is uphill, so that the sled is slowed on a tight turn. However, it could also be the overhanging lip of the track, preventing the sled from leaving the track at high speeds. In that case, I would call it a "counter-incline", as you see on security fences, where the top is angled outwards, in order to make the fence more difficult to climb.
