Yes, David, 'stick to' is informal, but I still think that keep the deadline or stick to even informal, sounds better, comply with and meet have stronger meaning, I think IMHO, here is their will to keep the deadline or not, but it is desirable. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&biw=1920&bi...
As "stick to" is informal, I would suggest "adhere to"
For ex: The Parties must adhere to the deadline set by the Court

I think stick to is the best choice here, because, you should not change the term set by the Court, you should stick to it which is desirable.
