Russian term or phrase: гукальная песня
сто лет занимаюсь русским фольклором, и вот приспичило перевести программку собственного шоу на английский, а ничего путного для перевода слова "гукальный" взбодрить не могу. По технике - каждый куплет (или строфа) заканчиваются пережиманием связок на манер тирольского йодля (гукание), однако, технически гукание сильно уступает йодлю по развитости фактуры. Был бы телефон на то свет - позвонил бы академику Д. Лихачеву, а так - приходится уповать на Вас, уважаемые коллеги.

Asker: Большое Вам спасибо за интересный вариант. На сколько я могу судить, "воркование" подразумевает звук с небольшой амплитудой, тогда как при гуканье (с ударением на "а") амплитуда голоса близка к максимальной - это очень громкий и высокий звук.
