drift fishing Explanation: I'm pretty sure what is being described is fishing from a boat/vessel which is not anchored. i.e. "drift fishing". However, I'm not 100% certain if this is the method used for catching zherekh/asp. See the following link for examples: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=drift fishing&hl=en&tbo=u&... a=X&ei=Ii8hUfG9GsKA4gSg4IGwBA&ved=0CDUQsAQ Fly fishing and spear fishing would not appear to be correct because the author mentions the use of bait earlier in the sentence and neither fly nor spear fishing use bait. |
