IMO, the comma after "шестерней ориентации" is wrong. The sentence should actually be read "мировой лидер в изготовлении шестерней ориентации лопастей и колонн для ветряных двигателей любой мощности". In other words, the company manufactures "шестерни ориентации" for "лопастей" and "колонн". This interpretation perfectly agrees with the company product range, since the company does not seem to manufacture blades or towers.

That's correct. My gut feeling is they would not make towers: seems a bit too large comparing to what their main product is. Although blades are pretty big too.

Yes, these are wind turbines, but I am not sure if "колонна" and "tower" is the same thing since I came across "башня" in this context. I know nothing at all about turbines.

Are these wind turbines you are translating about? Those are usually supported by towers.
